The collaboration with IgersItalia
Igersitalia is the national Association that recognizes and represents enthusiasts and professionals in digital content production. Igersitalia’s and its local Communities’ first Mission is to promote the Italian territory and its beauties on Instagram and on other digital new media.
Why I did become a member
I became a member of Igersitalia Association in 2017 because I wanted to be constantly exposed to the latest developments in the digital world and social networks. This enhanced the capabilities learnt in my educational background.
I really believed that my Blog on Instagram “On My Way”, founded in 2014, could be an inspiration for individuals to discover the territory of Tuscany, such as my dear Maremma and Monte Argentario. I yearned for my posts to earn much more value and visibility throughout a targeted network. Then… I wanted to overcome my shyness, to go beyond and, finally, to travel and discover the world around me.
I must admit that becoming a part of IgersItalia, in particular my collaboration with the local communities of IgersToscana and IgersGrosseto, has been more than a work project.
I improved my digital skills in Influencer Marketing, not only on Instagram, but also on Facebook and on LinkedIn. Indeed, I practised the use of Adobe, and other different visual and graphic tools. Moreover, I got an advanced knowledge in copywriting for social networks thanks to Storytelling - a format of digital experience that is vital, nowadays. Finally, I must say, I met lovely people: they helped me to go further in my professional career, and to become a reliable and creative person too. IgersItalia Community contributed to my discovering of new passions, some that I would have never thought of.

The Blog "ONMAYWAY"
I have been in the IgersItalia Community since 2017; however, my journey in discovering the Tuscan territory started in 2014 with the Blog “On My Way to…”
“On My Way” is a lifestyle and a philosophy, which maintains its own methodology of social content posting, based on “Inspiration”. The “Inspirational vibes” – in a common Instagram language – represent those special moments that we strongly want to catch. Despite this, they come when you least expect them. 
So, the inspiration brings improvisation to life and the mobile phone becomes the means for that. Basically, my IG contents stem from a sudden gesture, like a click on the mobile camera. “On my Way” is a journey towards inspiration, in which my identity, being a flow constantly crossing the pathways of everyday life, gets richer as I discover my territory.

At Casa Berto, near Capo Vaticano (province of Vibo Valentia), I started a journey towards the discovery of the Italian writer and playwright Giuseppe Berto. In collaboration with the Genuina Hub Company - a communication agency focused in Employer Branding - I shared a comparison between the literary masterpiece “Il Male Oscuro”, in which Giuseppe Berto narrates the fighting against his inner demons, and the research for the value of people inside organizations. The Employer Branding aims at recognizing and highlighting human capital inside companies. Their being human is the starting point upon which it is necessary to work, in order to turn weaknesses into opportunities for growth.

ONMYWAY to Tuscany and Wine Grapes
One of my latest initiatives for IgersItalia and the local community of IgersToscana. Three days in the heart of Tuscany, on an adventure to tell the story of my territory and one of my greatest passions: the wine. The Storytelling meshes those inspirations and sensations that I have experienced each moment, and tells the journey through the eyes of a child enchanted by the stories, heard from her father years ago. The tone of voice stays warm and friendly, with prosaic overtones reminiscent of a dream (which comes true – in this case). I recorded my travel days by leveraging different Instagram Tools, such as multiple posts, Instagram Guide and Instagram Stories.

 Avrò avuto appena sei anni, ed ero entrata nel loop de "La Spada nella Roccia": continuavo a guardare quel cartone della Disney per giorni e giorni e sognare di avere Anacleto come amico. Avevo gli occhi così brillanti, gioiosi che mio padre venne da me e in un attimo trasformò il sogno della sua bambina in realtà. "La Spada nella Roccia esiste DAVVERO?". "Francesca, esiste. Ti ci porterò".
I must have been just six years old, I had got the loop of “the sword in the rock”: I kept watching that Disney cartoon for days on, and I kept dreaming of Anacleto and me to become friends. My eyes were so bright and joyful that my father came to me, turning his little daughter’s dream into reality in an instant. “Does the sword in the rock really exist?”. “Francesca, it exists. I will take you there”.

Guides on Instagram are a great tool to categorize our IG contents: to be honest, they represent a unique, smart and innovative way to “influence” and to recommend your followers.
We can count on posts, stories, IGtv, …… and now we get them! The IG Guides narrate our adventures, show where we have been and promote our territory in a sustainable and ethical way.
In Maremma with IgersGrosseto
I can just say: it is my land! I would do everything in my power to support it. That’s because, in Maremma, you can only be happy!​​​​​​​
Thanks to this collaboration, I have met lots of lovely people. Among them there is Fabrizio d’Ascenzi, director of IgersGrosseto and founder of IgersMaremma. I am working with him constantly :D he is also my mentor for what concerns the world of wine.

InstaMeet in Pitigliano: the event “Pitersiano” with Igers Grosseto and IgersToscana.
Work in Progress!
“Instameet” is an event arranged by the IgersItalia’s local communities to get to know each member, through a theme – based project. The mission is to promote the Italian territory and, in particular, a local place - in addition to improving the engagement inside the community.
In collaboration with IgersToscana and IgersGrosseto, a couple of days dedicated to the discovery of the land around the village of Pitigliano.
“Pitersiano” (born from Pitigliano and Igers) is a communication project for Italian Influencers, who have based their IG profiles on the theme of travel, wine and food.
“Pitersiano'' comes from the format, style and philosophy of my blog “On My Way”, and the project itself is told like a true Storytelling: a young girl who wants to remember the peaceful moments with her grandpa among those streets. Walking through Pitigliano, the narrow corners evoke happy memories from her childhood. Moreover, meeting with different people (Igers) helps her to go beyond and to discover other amazing stories about the village, like traditions she has never heard of. This Storytelling becomes  a real Storydoing through “Pitersiano”: it is aimed to promote one of the most suggestive villages in Italy.​​​​​​​
Val d'Orcia
“The communication of wine is in the label” – is what I learnt by tasting the Tuscan tradition in a literary winery called Val d’O, located in San Quirico d’Orcia.
This Storytelling, which evokes the smell of must, is accompanied by the reading of the greatest classics of the Italian literature and by the stories of the local winemakers, which are narrated on the labels of their wines. It could be compared to a marketing strategy called “Unique Selling Proposition”, but I would rather define it as an “identity”, like the artist Cristina Latini has shown in her project “Six winemakers of the wonderful land”.​​​​​​​

When I was a child, my mum was a manager of an antique old-style perfumery. She taught me one important thing: how to take care of yourself through the best skin care, and how to find it. She introduced me to the Terme di Saturnia‘s products for body and skin treatments: I fell in love with them immediately.​​​​​​​
This Storytelling comes from a dream of rebirth, away from stressful moments and from the difficult challenges always found in one’s pursuit of their goals. In a whirlwind of emotions, ideas and maybe bad thoughts too, I’d rather come here to breathe freedom and to talk alone with my soul.​​​​​​​
